Frank Mito Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who plan to attend college in any state and who are members and the children of members of the Watsonville-Santa Cruz Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL).

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in the areas of California served by the Watsonville-Santa Cruz Chapter of JACL and planning to attend college in any state.

Applicants and at least 1 of their parents must be a member of the chapter, the Watsonville Buddhist Temple, and/or the Westview Presbyterian Church.

Preference is given to students who have participated in Kokoro no Gakko.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
