The Fred & Gloria Thaut Webber Scholarship is a need-based program that supports students who are current or former members of 4-H. Applications will be reviewed for academic achievement and participation in extracurricular activities. Students who are seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree are encouraged to apply. Those preparing for a career in education, agriculture, agriculture-business, or agriculture engineering receive special consideration.

Requirements
  • Current or former member or leader of 4-H
  • Minimum 2.75 GPA for high school, minimum 2.5 GPA for college and nontraditional students
  • Current or former resident of Big Horn or Carbon counties in Montana or current or former student of Custer Public Schools in Yellowstone County, Montana
  • Graduating high school senior, current college student, or nontraditional student planning to enroll as a fulltime student
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, church activities, or community service
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students preparing for a career in education, agriculture, agriculturebusiness, or agriculture engineering.
