The Frederick C. Branch Scholarship provides financial assistance to students entering or enrolled at Historically Black Colleges or Universities (HBCUs) and interested in joining Navy ROTC to prepare for service as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. Graduating high school seniors and undergraduates between the ages of seventeen and twenty-three seeking an associate or bachelor's degree are welcome to apply. Students must not be older than twenty-seven by the date of graduation.
