Freedom Alliance Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to the children of deceased and disabled military personnel.

Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors, high school graduates, and undergraduate students under 26 years of age who are dependent children of military personnel (soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, or Guardsman).
  • The military parent must have 1) been killed in action; 2) become 100% totally and permanently disabled as a direct result of an operational or combat mission or suffered a major limb amputation due to enemy action; 3) been classified as a POW or MIA; 4) been awarded the Medal of Honor, the Navy Cross, the Distinguished Service Cross, the Air Force Cross, or the Coast Guard Cross; or 5) been involved in a training accident that resulted in the death of the service member or caused an immediate inability to continue serving.
  • Applicants must submit a 500word essay on what their parent's service means to them.
