Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors and to students currently enrolled at a 2- or 4-year technical school, college, or university in North America.

Applicants must be interested in studying a field related to the fire suppression industry.

Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from an employer or professional in the fire supression industry and a letter from a teacher, professor, or other education professional.

Students who have made a definite career choice should outline their occupational goals.

Selection is based on academic success, interest, special abilities, and financial need.
