Requirements

This program is open to brothers in good standing who are juniors or seniors in college or who are planning to begin full-time graduate study.

Applicants must submit brief essays on 1) how they would characterize their approach to their studies; 2) their vocational and nonvocational goals; 3) any offices and positions of leadership they have held outside their chapter; 4) how they have displayed leadership and contributed to the betterment of life outside their chapter; 5) any offices they have held in their chapter; 6) how they have displayed leadership and contributed to the betterment of their chapter; 7) what being a member of the fraternity has meant to them, and 8) why they feel history is important to study.

They may be majoring in any field, but their transcripts must reflect the considerable study of 19th and 20th-century history.

Preference is given to applicants with an interest in modern German history or the World Wars.

Selection is based on academic achievement (GPA of 3.5 or higher).
