The George T. Kanalu Young Memorial Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduate and graduate students. Those who demonstrate a commitment to serving Hawaiian communities and have an interest in Hawaiian language, culture, and /or history are encouraged to apply. Students who are pursuing a degree in a field in which Hawaiians are underrepresented are given special consideration. It is also the policy of the Foundation to give preference to students of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
