Geraldine K. Morris Award provides financial assistance to the children of officers and civilians who served in the Army Corps of Engineers and are interested in studying nursing in college.

Requirements

This program is open to children of 1) U.S. Army Corps of Engineers officers and warrant officers who are on active duty, retired, or deceased while on active duty or after retiring from active duty; or 2) current Department of the Army employees of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Applicants must be high school seniors planning to enroll in a program leading to a nursing degree or certification.

They must also have a parent who is a member of the Army Engineer Spouses' Club.

Selection is based on that essay and academic and extracurricular achievement during high school.

U.S. citizenship is required.
