The Gerrit R. Ludwig Scholarship is for high school graduates from East Hawaii. Dr. Gerrit Ludwig was an ophthalmologist in Hilo with a love for fine arts and classics. He set up this fund to support students studying fine art or the classics. Students seeking a bachelor's or graduate degree full-time are welcome to apply.

Seeking a bachelor's or graduate degree as a fulltime student

Studying fine arts or classics, including or closely related to theatre/performing arts, ceramics/sculpture, literature/writing, art, painting, dance, drawing, music, photography, or philosophy
