Golf Course Superintendents Association of New Jersey Scholarships provide financial assistance for college in any state to members and children of members of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of New Jersey (GCSANJ), especially those interested in studying turf management.

Requirements

This program is open to GCSANJ members and their children who are graduating high school seniors or current undergraduate students.

Applicants must be attending or planning to attend a college or university in any state.

Special consideration is given to applicants interested in studying turf management; they must submit a separate recommendation from a teacher, adviser, or a member of the GCSANJ. Along with their application, they must submit a 250word essay on an experience from their own life and how it has influenced their development.

Selection is based on that essay, academics, extracurricular activities, and overall presentation.
