Good Tidings Foundation Community Service Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in the greater San Francisco Bay area who have performed exceptional community service and plan to attend college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in the greater San Francisco Bay area, including the counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Merced, Monterey, Napa, San Benito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, or Yolo.

Applicants must submit a 2page essay describing their community service activities, covering such topics as why they chose the project, how they helped the community, how many people were affected by their work, why community service is important to them, what they have gained or learned from the experience, and what they will do in the future.

Preference is given to applicants who can demonstrate the greatest financial need.
