The Gopher Tortoise Day Scholarship is open to students working on their research projects and interested in increasing awareness and appreciation for these long-lived, gentle reptiles. Residents of the Southeastern U.S. including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, or South Carolina, are eligible to apply.
