The Gordon and Robin Keys and Family Angus Scholarship provide financial assistance to residents of Maryland and Virginia who have been members of the National Junior Angus Association (NJAA) and are enrolled or planning to enroll at a college and major in any field.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Maryland and Virginia who have been a member of the NJAA in the past and presently are junior, regular, or life members of the American Angus Association.
  • Applicants must be either a high school senior or already enrolled fulltime at a college in any state working on an undergraduate degree in any field with a GPA of 2.0 or higher and younger than 25 years of age.
  • Selection is based on those essays; academic achievement; Angus competitive activities and involvement; Angus leadership activities; FFA, 4H, and other agricultural organization involvement; other high school or collegiate organization, community, civic, and church activities; an essay on their leadership potential, career goals, and ambitions for the future, especially how they will promote, advocate, and support the Angus breed and beef cattle industry in their plans; and general effect of the application.
