Requirements

This competition is open to juniors and seniors at high schools in Oregon and planning to attend a college or university in any state.

Applicants must submit an essay, up to 600 words in length, on a topic that changes annually but relates to peace; recently, students were asked to write, "How can you work against systematic racism to help make our world more healthy and peaceful?"
