  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to renewal applicants who were awarded in the immediate prior year and have maintained a minimum 2.0 GPA. Preference is further given to students in the following order: students of Japanese ancestry who major in Japanese or Japanese studies, students of Japanese ancestry, and students of Asian ancestry.
