Requirements

This program is open to Maine residents who are the child or spouse of a worker killed or permanently disabled as the result of a work-related injury.

The worker must have been insured through the sponsor at the time of the workplace injury.

Applicants must be attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university in any state as an undergraduate or graduate student.

Selection is based on financial need, academic performance, community involvement, other life experiences, and future promise.
