Requirements

This program is open to residents of Hawaii who are graduating high school seniors or currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in any state. Non-resident students are able to apply if pursuing their degree or licensure in the state Hawaii.

Applicants must be seeking a professional certification or degree in a field related to the interests of the sponsor (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, intelligence, or cyber security).

Selection is based on academic standing (GPA, class standing, SAT or ACT scores), types of courses taken, community involvement, demonstrated leadership, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and financial need.
