Hawaii High School Hall of Honor Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Hawaii who have participated in athletics and plan to attend college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Hawaii who have participated in a sport approved by the Hawaii High School Athletic Association.

Coaches, athletic directors, other school personnel, or anyone else in a position to recognize outstanding high school athletes may submit the names of selection committee members for consideration; those committee members may then nominate students for these scholarships.

Nominees must be planning to attend a college or university in any state.

Selection is based primarily on athletic achievement; other factors considered include contributions to the team, versatility in sports, character and behavior on and off the playing field, sportsmanship and dedication, character and behavior on and off the playing field or court, academic achievement, role in school activities outside sports, and involvement in the community.
