Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan Academic Scholarship provides financial assistance to Michigan residents with hemophilia and their families who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors, high school graduates, and currently-enrolled college students who are Michigan residents and have hemophilia or another bleeding disorder.
  • Family members of people with bleeding disorders and family members of people who have died from complications of a bleeding disorder are also eligible.
  • Applicants must submit a 300word statement on their educational and career goals, the role that the bleeding disorder has played in influencing those goals, and how receiving the scholarship will help them to meet those goals.
  • Selection is based on that statement, academic merit, employment status, reference letters, financial need, and the impact of the bleeding disorder on educational activities.
