Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from public, private, or charter high schools in Washington, D.C.; Baltimore City; the Maryland counties of Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Charles, Howard, Montgomery, and Prince George's; Arlington and Fairfax counties in Virginia, and Alexandria, Virginia.
  • Applicants must be facing extreme hardship, such as poverty, immigration, a disability, or loss of a parent.
  • They must be interested in enrolling fulltime at a college, university, trade school, or community college in any state.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement (GPA of 3.0 or higher), hardship conditions, community service, leadership, and financial need.
