Requirements

This program is open to residents of Maine who are attending or planning to attend an institution of higher education in any state to study culinary arts or restaurant, hotel, or hospitality management; first priority is given to culinary arts students.

Applicants may be high school seniors, high school graduates, or employees of HospitalityMaine member organizations.

Selection is based on academic record, desire for career in the hotel or food service industry, employment record, extracurricular activities, and financial need.
