The IBA/DVLF Scholarship provides financial assistance to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBTQIA+), and allied students working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in a business-related field at a college or university in the Greater Philadelphia region.

Requirements
  • This program is open to full-time undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled at colleges and universities in the Greater Philadelphia region, defined as the Pennsylvania counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia, the New Jersey counties of Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer, and Salem, and New Castle County in Delaware.
  • Applicants must selfidentify as LGBTQIA+ or an allied student supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community.
  • They must be working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in a businessrelated field (e.g., management, finance, leadership, organizational development, organizational dynamics, entrepreneurship, economics, marketing, statistics, accounting).
  • Selection is based on that essay, academic credentials, business interest, leadership potential and roles, community service and involvement, future career goals, a letter of recommendation, financial need, and an interview (if applicable).
