Requirements

This program is open to veterans who served during designated periods of wartime and their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Applicants must be currently enrolled fulltime at a college or university studying nursing or hospital program.

They must be residents of Illinois or members of the American Legion Family, Department of Illinois.

Applications may be obtained only from a local unit of the American Legion Auxiliary.
