Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Illinois and planning to enroll full-time at an accredited college, university, or vocational school in any state.

Applicants must submit information on leadership positions and offices in school, church, volunteer, and community activities; memberships and participation in school, church, volunteer, and community activities; honors and awards received during high school; employment experience; and family financial situation.

They must also submit an essay of 300 to 500 words on their chosen field of college study, their reasons for that choice, and how this scholarship will impact their future.

U.S. citizenship is required.
