Requirements

This program is open to full-time students who have completed at least 3 semesters of a teacher education program at a college or university in Indiana and are entering their junior or senior year.

Applicants must be residents of the state and be sponsored by a member of the Indiana Retired Teachers Association (IRTA).

They must have at least a 2.0 GPA and be able to demonstrate financial need.

Selection is based on academic records, community and school activities, written communication skills, recommendations, and financial needs.
