Requirements

This program is open to residents of Iowa who are veterans or the parent, spouse, widow, child, grandchild, or great-grandchild of a veteran.

Applicants must be enrolled in or planning to enroll at a college or university in Iowa.

Selection is based on that essay, academic record, activities and awards, and letters of recommendation indicating the applicant's character, patriotism, and leadership.
