Requirements

This program is open to students currently working full-time on a degree in broadcast journalism at a college or university in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin.

Applicants must submit an essay on why they are planning a career in broadcast journalism.

Selection is based on academic achievement, dedication to broadcast journalism as a career, and experience in the field (e.g., internships, full or part-time employment, volunteer work).
