The James F. and Doris M. Barton Scholarship offers merit-based financial assistance to residents of New York who are American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) or the American Quarter Horse Youth Association (AQHYA) members who are also members of the Empire State Youth Quarter Horse Association (ESYQHA). High school seniors and undergraduate students demonstrating financial need who participate in equestrian sports seeking a professional certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree are welcome to apply.
