The James G. Fulton Fellows Program is for undergraduate students (residents of western Pennsylvania) who have taken courses in politics in anwestern Pennsylvania institutions and who wish to participate in political internships. Recipients of the fellowship will be enrolled in the Marquette University Les Aspin Center for Government, with preference given to students from Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

Requirements
  • Planning to participate in an internship in one of the following: a western Pennsylvania Congressional office; executive or administrative office of the federal government; legislative bodies and executive and administrative offices of local governments; or in the national, state, and local offices of the political parties
  • Minimum 2.75 GPA
  • Resident of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Washington, or Westmoreland counties in Pennsylvania
  • Attending an institution of higher education in western Pennsylvania as an undergraduate student
  • Have completed previous coursework in American politics Preference is given to students from Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
