Requirements

This program is open to women graduating from high schools in eastern Washington and planning to enroll at a college or university in any state.

Applicants must submit an essay on what inspires them about the life of the program�s namesake, their interests, accomplishments, aspirations, educational and career goals, service to school or community, honors, awards, activities, hardships, financial need, and any obstacles they have had to overcome.

Selection is based on that essay (50%), personal accomplishments (15%), a letter of recommendation (10%), GPA/transcripts (10%), financial need (10%), and the completed application.
