The John H. and Annie C. Miles Memorial Scholarship program is awarded to students who reside in Matthews County, Virginia. Recipients are recommended by Oriental Lodge No. 20. Applications are available in the Mathews High School guidance office each fall. Students who have lived, or whose parents have lived, in Mathews County for at least 10 years receive special consideration.
