The John R. Kernodle, Jr. Memorial Scholarship program supports graduating seniors from a high school in the Guilford County Schools System who participate in community service. Applicants planning to pursue a career as a K-12 teacher at a public school in North Carolina are welcome to apply. Special consideration will be given to students attending North Carolina colleges and universities and to those who agree to teach in Guilford County, North Carolina.
