Jon A. Schlueter City Teacher Scholarship

About the Scholarship

The Jon A. Schlueter City Teacher Scholarship program is available to current teachers employed by Findlay City Schools in Ohio. Applicants seeking a master's or doctorate in a field of study for which the applying teacher is certified to teach or can be certified to teach upon completion of the degree are encouraged to apply. Preference is given to currently employed teachers who display the following qualities: enthusiasm, energy, creativity, a positive attitude, diligence, thorough preparation for classroom teaching, good communication skills with students, are motivational, are professional with peers, parents, and administration, and display and project characteristics of becoming an outstanding teacher.
