Requirements

This competition is open to Vermont high school students with musical ability.

They must prepare 3 pieces, of which at least 1 must be a movement of a concerto or orchestral work with a soloist, suitable for performance with a symphony orchestra; they are asked to perform at least 2 of those pieces, 1 chosen by them and 1 or more chosen by the judges, at an audition in February.

Previous winners are ineligible.
