The Kansas City Scholars - Adult Learner Scholarship is open to residents from the 6-county Kansas City area who are at least 24 years of age. Applicants must have completed at least 12 college credits but have been out of school for a period of time. Students who are interested in resuming their education at a designated university or community college that is a KCS Postsecondary Network Institution are welcome to apply.

Resident of Cass, Clay, Jackson, or Platte counties in Missouri or Johnson or Wyandotte counties in Kansas

Aged 24 or older

Completed 12 units of college credit

U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, DACA current and pending

Authorized to live and work in the U.S.

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree at a designated partner institution
