Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Kansas who are enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at a college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must submit brief essays on 1) the advice they would give to a young person about how they can achieve their life goals; and 2) where they expect to be in 15 years.
  • The program is sponsored by Kiwanis, but membership in the Kiwanis youth groups (Key Club, Circle K International) is not required.
  • Selection is based on the essays, transcripts, high school or college activities, high school or college honors and awards, community service while in high school or college, letters of recommendation, and financial information.
