Kansas SWANA Sunflower Chapter Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to high school seniors and recent graduates who are the children or grandchildren of members of the Kansas Sunflower Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).

Requirements

This program is open to children and grandchildren of SWANA Kansas Sunflower Chapter members who are graduating high school seniors or GED recipients.

Applicants must have been accepted at a community college or 4year college or university in any state to major in any field.

Selection is based on the quality of those written statements (10%); academics, including GPA, ACT and/or SAT scores, and honors and awards (50%); extracurricular activities, including athletics, music, drama, debate, and employment (20%); and community activities (20%).
