Karen Quill Scholarship provides financial assistance to Vermont residents who are members or children of members of unions such as the Vermont Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals and are interested in working on a nursing degree at a school in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Vermont who are enrolled or planning to enroll at least half time in an undergraduate or graduate nursing degree program at a college or university in the state.

Applicants must be an active member or child of a member of a union such at the Vermont Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals.

Selection is based on that essay, community involvement and service, letters of recommendation, and financial need.
