Keesler Spouses' Club Merit Scholarship Awards for Spouses and DOD Civilian Personnel provides financial assistance to spouses of military and civilian personnel affiliated with Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi who plan to attend college or graduate school in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to non-military spouses of 1) active-duty members of the U.S. armed forces stationed at Keesler AFB; 2) active-duty Reservists or Guard members of the U.S. armed forces stationed at Keesler AFB for at least 9 months; 3) retired or deceased Air Force members residing in the local area; 4) active-duty members of the U.S. armed forces on a remote assignment from Keesler AFB; or 5) current Department of Defense employees based at Keesler AFB. Applicants must reside in Hancock, Harrison, or Jackson counties in Mississippi.
  • They must be high school graduates or equivalent planning to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational school in any state to work full or parttime on an undergraduate or graduate degree or certificate.
  • Selection is based on that essay, work experience, community and volunteer activities, special interests and hobbies, and academic achievement.
