Kent W. Hamlin Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to community college students who are participating in the Nuclear Uniform Curriculum Program (NUCP) of the nuclear power industry.

Requirements

This program is open to students working on a 2-year associate degree that is part of the NUCP. Applicants must submit a 500-word essay describing how they see themselves contributing to the U.S. nuclear power industry following successful graduation from the NUCP program of study.

They must be members of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) and sponsored by the faculty adviser of an ANS student chapter or an individual ANS member.

Selection is based on academic achievement.
