Requirements

This program is open to residents of Connecticut between 15 and 26 years of age who are enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at a college, university, community college, technical college, vocational school, or trade school in any state.

Applicants must have a parent, stepparent, or legal guardian who has been seriously or fatally injured in a work-related accident, repetitive trauma claim, or occupational disease resulting in financial need.

Selection is based on academic performance, need for financial assistance, personal leadership, and demonstrated contributions to their schools and communities.
