Requirements

This program is open to students between 18 and 25 years of age who are enrolled or planning to enroll full or part-time at an accredited college, university, or technical school in any state.

Applicants must have a parent who has been killed or seriously injured as a result of a workrelated accident that meets the criteria of the Illinois Workers' Compensation Act, although neither the student nor the parent is required to be legal residents of Illinois.

The death or injury of the parent must have resulted in demonstrated financial need.
