The Kids' Chance of Maine Scholarship is available to high school seniors and undergraduate students who are children of workers that have been seriously injured or killed in a compensable work-related accident or occupational disease. Students planning to pursue postsecondary education either part-time or full-time are welcome to apply. Recipients are chosen for their demonstration of financial need.

Resident of the U.S.

High school senior or undergraduate student

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree full or parttime

Accepted or enrolled at a 2 or 4year college, university, or technical school

Aged 16 to 22

Child of an employee who is seriously injured or killed in a compensable workrelated accident or an occupational disease with an employer over whom the Maine Workers’ Compensation Board has jurisdiction
