Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools (public, private, or charter) in Washington, D.C., and planning to enroll at a college or university in any state.

Each high school in the District may nominate 1 student.

Selection is based on academic achievement, contributions to school and community, and financial need.

Semifinalists are interviewed.
