Koshland Young Leader Awards Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school students in San Francisco who have faced significant challenges and plan to attend college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to students currently enrolled as juniors in high schools within the San Francisco Unified School District and planning to enroll at a college or university in any state.

Applicants must be nominated by a teacher at their school.

After being nominated by their teacher, they must submit an application accompanied by a video of 6 to 8 minutes in which they describe how they have balanced extraordinary challenges, including family separation and homelessness, yet continue to show academic promise and community leadership.

GPA 3.0 or above.
