Requirements

This program is open to Maine residents who are high school seniors or students already attending a college in the state.

Applicants must submit brief essays on 1) their interest in the economics and ecology of Maine, including how they plan to apply those interests to their studies and career; and 2) what they want Maine to be like in 30 years and how they would personally want to be involved in shaping it.

Financial need is considered in the selection process, but the primary consideration is the applicant's ability to contribute to the economy and the environment of Maine.
