The Lavenz Memorial Incourage Scholarship program recognizes graduating seniors from Kennedy High School, Iowa, who have demonstrated courage, perseverance, and resilience in the face of serious or life-threatening medical adversity or other significant hardship affecting themselves or their immediate family. Recent graduates who were forced to postpone additional education due to medical hardship and are planning to attend an accredited not-for-profit or public college or university in the state of Iowa are encouraged to apply.
