LECMPA Scholarship provides financial assistance for college or graduate school to children of members of the Locomotive Engineers and Conductors Mutual Protective Association (LECMPA).

Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students whose parent is a member of both the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) and its LECMPA. That parent must have been a member for at least 2 years and the other parent must be a BLET Auxiliary member.

High school seniors must submit copies of their SAT or ACT score and their GPA. Continuing or returning undergraduates and graduate students must submit transcripts.

All applicants must submit a short essay about their interests, goals, extracurricular activities, and anything else they wish to share about themselves.

Selection is based on academic record, leadership, character, and personal achievement.
