Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at a 4-year college or university, community college, or trade/technical school.

Preference is given to applicants attending north San Diego County, California high schools, with an emphasis given to students enrolling fulltime at California public academic institutions.

Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Selection is based on financial need (40%), academic standing and/or the potential for success (30%), school and community involvement and work experience (10%), the essay (10%), and recommendations (10%).
