Leonard Eckel Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to employees and dependents of employees of members of Motor Carriers of Montana (MCM) who are interested in attending college in the state and studying any field.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Montana who are graduating high school seniors or undergraduates currently enrolled full-time at a college, university, or trade school in the state.

Applicants must be an employee or a dependent of an employee of an MCM member company who has been employed for at least 6 months.

They may be studying any field, but they must have a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Selection is based on academic ability (40%); applicant's selfhelp (20%); student activities in school, extracurricular activities, employment, and honors (10%); and financial need (30%).
